      Brunswick survey: emerging countries embrace China's development

      China is seen as a constructive partner and is increasingly regarded as a major leading economic and technological country in the world, according to a survey of an international advisory firm.

      DAVOS, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- A survey published during the ongoing annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland shows emerging countries are embracing China's development.

      Brunswick, an international advisory firm, said in the survey involving 9,700 respondents in 23 countries that emerging countries approve of China's positions on various economic and political issues, with 84 percent of respondents in emerging countries having a favorable opinion of China.

      China is seen as a constructive partner and is increasingly regarded as a major leading economic and technological country in the world, the survey results showed.

      In developed countries, the survey showed 58 percent of respondents hold a favorable view of China.
