BEIJING, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng summoned U.S. Ambassador to China Terry Branstad on Sunday and lodged solemn representations and strong protests against the detention of a senior executive of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. by the Canadian authorities at the unreasonable behest of the United States.
