MUSCAT, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- The Indian star Shah Rukh Khan arrived in the Omani capital Muscat on Friday, as part of his tour in the Gulf to promote his new film "Zero."

The film will be screened in Oman and other countries on Dec. 21, he said at a press conference, adding that his five-year-old son appears with him in the film.

The Indian movie star, born in 1965, captures the character of a dwarf, the role he has played for the first time in the history of his career.

A number of Bollywood stars also participated in the movie, which has been filmed in cities, including Mumbai, New York and Dubai.
