SANAA, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- A Saudi-led coalition airstrike hit a Houthi-controlled military base in Yemen's capital Sanaa on Thursday, residents said.

The strike targeted Maintenance Base in al-Nah'da quarter, nearly 1 km northeast of the Information Ministry, the residents said.

There were no reports of casualties.

The attack was the latest in a series of airstrikes targeting the rebel-held Sanaa by the Saudi-led coalition.

On Sunday, a coalition airstrike killed four employees at a radio station in the country's Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, which is also still under rebel's control.

The Yemeni internationally recognized government, backed by the coalition, resumed military operations against the rebels in Hodeidah and other northern rebel-held cities following the collapse of the UN-hosted peace talks in Geneva on Sept. 8 as the Houthi rebel delegation did not show up.

Yemen has been locked into a civil war since the Houthi rebels overran much of the country militarily and seized all northern provinces, including Sanaa, in 2014.

Saudi Arabia is leading an Arab military coalition that intervened in Yemen in 2015 to support the government of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi after the Houthi rebels forced him into exile.????
